The Bond Garden
The Bond Garden is a quintessential NYC landscape design garden conceived and implemented for the Bond Townhouse, a landmark building situated in historic Boerum Hill.
This is an example of massive landscape undertaking, where the entire backyard has been excavated and reenvisioned as a blend of indoor and outdoor. We originally designed a green house for the upper deck that would function as a plant-filled luxury tent in the middle of a beautiful garden in Brooklyn!
After finalizing the architectural vision and layout, we undertook our DOB approval process to meet neighborhood regulations and city codes.
With those measures resolved, we commenced the gardening phase in collaboration with a team of consummate gardeners and botanic experts who upheld our philosophy of working with native plants to truly create an outdoor experience suited to The Bond’s natural setting.
Ultimately, the implementation and build of the Bond Garden was an aesthetic and financial triumph that has boosted the real estate value of the property by about 30%.
